I think the C’s lose focus against a lot of teams. They really aren’t interested! When they feel like working, they place more effort on offense and not as much on the "D". Because of the wear and tear on their bodies, and the length of the season, they're on cruise control. Occasionally, they'll work on "D", but are pacing themselves. We’ll see them start to pick it up more as the season winds down…the questions are: will it be too late; will they be able to flick on that switch? How much are the injuries really hurting them?

I’m sure the Celtics are counting on the fact that they will not have to play back to back nights once playoffs start; in addition to only preparing for one team! Physically and emotionally, the C’s will be ready for the start of the playoffs. We’ve seen ups and downs from the Big G, but generally speaking, there has been an overall improvement in his movement, and his shot will come back! The C’s have also encouraged Rajon to shoot more from the outside in order to increase his confidence and develop a more all around game. Watch out!

Let’s not forget that last year they started out 27 and 2, and this season was a respectable 23 and 5 before they hit the wall. When the time comes, the Celtics will step up their focus for a full 48 and begin working the feet again defensively on all possessions. The Celtics can be a force when they’re D begins to create offensive opportunities.

It’s going to be a great post-season, Celtic fans! These veterans will show their opponents that they have not faded away!

I like the new look of the blog..
The C's need to pick it up. If they can start to string some wins together with some consistacy on the defensof end it will start to turn around...Don't give up hope yet.
